Templates
The Templates area of Manage Security is where you define permissions for specific templates areas. Permissions can be set for your providers in all of your offices. Expiry dates can be set for providers who are only there on a temporary basis.

Below is a description of what a user has access to when a specific permission is selected:
Patients: Controls providers the users have access to for some patient section related activities (e.g. assigning patients to a Provider's cohort).
Scheduling: Controls the option to schedule for selected providers.
Billing: Controls the option to bill or see bills for selected providers.
Inbox: Enables users to view anything from the Documents and Labs sections.
EMR: When selected users can view anything from the EMR that the Provider created (e.g.Notes, Letters or Forms).
Labs: Controls the option to view any labs attached to a Provider.
Reporting: Controls the option to have the selected Provider appear or not within reporting results.
Visibility: Enables the selected Provider appear within dropdown boxes in Accuro.
Prescribe For: Gives the user the ability to prescribe for a Provider.
Add a Permission Template
- Press and release the Alt button on the keyboard, click Users and select Manage Security from the list displayed.
- Click the Templates tab on the left-hand side of the window.
- Click
to the right of the Office field and select the appropriate office from the list displayed.
Note: If the office is not listed then Add an Office.
- Click
to the right of the Template field.
- Type in the new template name and click OK. The providers for your office are listed.
Note: If you cannot see a Provider that you were expecting to be there you may need to Add a Provider to an Office.
- To give providers access to template management, click in the appropriate boxes, the
is replaced with a
. Repeat as necessary for all providers.
Note: For an explanation of the different permissions see Templates.
- To set an expiry date for access, click the Access Until button
and select a date from the calendar.
Note: You may need to scroll right to see this column. If you selected a date in error, it can be removed by clicking the No Date button below the calendar.
- Click Save Template to save your changes.
Edit a Permission Template
- Press and release the Alt button on the keyboard, click Users and select Manage Security from the list displayed.
- Click the Templates tab on the left-hand side of the window.
- Click
to the right of the Office field and select the appropriate office from the list displayed.
- Click
to the right of the Template field and select the appropriate template from the list displayed.
- Click in the appropriate boxes, the
is replaced with a
. If you want to remove permissions, click the
and it is replaced with a
. Repeat as necessary for all providers.

Copy a Permission Template
- Press and release the Alt button on the keyboard, click Users and select Manage Security from the list displayed.
- Click the Templates tab on the left-hand side of the window.
- Click
to the right of the Office field and select the appropriate office from the list displayed.
- Click
to the right of the Template field and select the appropriate template from the list displayed.
- Click the Copy Template button
.
- Type in the new template name and click OK. The template has been created and is an exact copy of the one you chose to copy.
Delete a Permission Template
- Press and release the Alt button on the keyboard, click Users and select Manage Security from the list displayed.
- Click the Templates tab on the left-hand side of the window.
- Click
to the right of the Office field and select the appropriate office from the list displayed.
- Click
to the right of the Template field and select the appropriate template from the list displayed.
- Click the Remove button
. A delete confirmation message is displayed:
- Click Yes to delete. The template has now been removed.
Make Permissions to Templates Expire
- Press and release the Alt button on the keyboard, click Users and select Manage Security from the list displayed.
- Click the Templates tab on the left-hand side of the window.
- Click
to the right of the Office field and select the appropriate office from the list displayed.
- Click
to the right of the Template field and select the appropriate template from the list displayed.
- Click the Access Until button
and select a date from the calendar.
Note: If you selected a date in error, it can be removed by clicking the No Date button below the calendar.
- Click Save Template to save your changes.
