Modules

In this tab users can find free modules to add to Accuro. Once a module is enabled it will be available next time Accuro is launched. Currently logged in users must log out and back in for the changes to take effect. Not all Users have access to the Modules section.

If you think you should be able to access options in the Modules area of Accuro and you cannot, please contact your office administrator. Some options require Administrator or Power User roles.

Note: Once enabled/disabled these changes are database wide.

To access this section navigate though:

  1. Click the Accuro Start Menu  or press Alt button on the keyboard, click Users and select Manage Security from the list displayed.
  2. Click the System Settings tab on the left-hand side of the window.
  3. Click the Modules tab within System Settings.

Accuro Chat: A feature which allows users to send instant messages to other users in the clinic.

Accuro MobileUsers log on across the Internet on mobile devices. Once logged into Accuro a window is displayed with the buttons at the top that allow clients to access Calendar, Scheduler, Inbox, EMR and the Address Book. Note: This is a simplified mobile view and not related to the ACCUROgo mobile companion application.

Background Document Upload: When filing documents, Accuro will perform a background action so that users do not have to wait for the first document to finish being filed before the next one.

Local Update Cache Database: For Locally Hosted Clinics with this module enabled, workstations will download the updater file from the Server's database, which speeds up the update process.

Surgical Wait ListA tool that can help clinics organize and prioritize patients waiting for appointments and/or surgical procedures for which there is no immediate availability.

Traffic Manager: A visual tool which is used to manage the flow of patients in the clinic.

Billing Provider Submission Protection: This allows multiple Accuro users to submit claims for different providers at the same time. If multiple Accuro users start a submission for the same Provider's claims, a message window will appear advising that a submission is already occurring for that Provider and that the user will need to wait until the previous user's submission is complete.
