Accounts Receivable
The Accounts Receivable tab displays a list of outstanding invoices for your office.
The view can be filtered by Provider and also by insurer. Users can also select to include overpaid claims and hide invoiced bills The background of the invoices are color coded making it easy to determine the age of each invoice.
By default the oldest invoices are displayed at the top and the newest invoices at the bottom. Click on any of the headings to change the display order, as required.
Access Accounts Receivable Tab
- Click the Claims button
on the Navigation bar.
- Select Accounts Receivable tab. The Accounts Receivable window is now displayed.
Open a Claim History
- Click the Claims button
on the Navigation bar.
- Select Accounts Receivable tab. The Accounts Receivable window is now displayed.
- Filter your view, as required.
- Right-click on the appropriate claim and select Claim History from the list displayed. The Claim History window is displayed.
View the Claim Details
- Click the Claims button
on the Navigation bar.
- Select Accounts Receivable tab. The Accounts Receivable window is now displayed.
- Filter your view, as required.
- Right-click on the appropriate claim and select Claim Details from the list displayed. The Claim Details window is displayed.
Write Off a Claim
- Click the Claims button
on the Navigation bar.
- Select Accounts Receivable tab. The Accounts Receivable window is now displayed.
- Filter your view, as required.
- Right-click on the appropriate claim and select Write Off from the list displayed. A confirmation message is displayed.
- Click Yes to continue.
Note: If there is more than one bill on the claim, click to select the appropriate bill and click OK.
Adjust a Claim to Paid
- Click the Claims button
on the Navigation bar.
- Select Accounts Receivable tab. The Accounts Receivable window is now displayed.
- Filter your view, as required.
- Right-click on the appropriate claim and select Adjust to Paid from the list displayed. A confirmation message is displayed.
- Click Yes to continue.
Note: If there is more than one bill on the claim, click to select the appropriate bill and click OK.
View a Bill Log History
- Click the Claims button
on the Navigation bar.
- Select Accounts Receivable tab. The Accounts Receivable window is now displayed.
- Filter your view, as required.
- Right-click on the appropriate claim and select Bill Log History from the list displayed. The Log Viewer window is displayed.
Tracking Pins in A/R by Insurer and Appointment History
The tracking pin feature is also available in A/R by Insurer (Claims > click the Accounts Receivable tab) and Appointment History (F4). Tracking pins are available as a right-click Menu option.
To create pins follow the procedure below:
- Press and release the Alt key, click Billing.
- Select Billing Options from the list displayed.
- Click Manage Claim Tracking.
Print Invoice(s) In Accounts Receivable
This option is only available if PP is selected as a filter option.
- Click the Claims button
on the Navigation bar.
- Select Accounts Receivable tab. The Accounts Receivable window is now displayed.
- Filter your view, as required.
- Right-click on the appropriate claim and select Print Invoice(s) from the list displayed. The invoice for this claim is displayed.
Print List of Outstanding Bills in Accounts Receivable
- Click the Claims button
on the Navigation bar.
- Select Accounts Receivable tab. The Accounts Receivable window is now displayed.
- Filter your view, as required.
- Click to select any invoices, if required.
- Click the Print button
.
- Click either the All Bills or Selected Bills button. A preview window displaying the bills is displayed.
- Click the Print button
.
- Select your appropriate printer and click OK.
