Audit logs are a complete record of what has been done in Accuro and by whom. Each entry is date/time stamped. All events are recorded and logged and cannot be either edited or deleted. Audit Logs also includes a record of all add/change/delete operations on non-medical record data (including permissions).
Archiving your Audit Logs is a good housekeeping routine as it backs up your logs and stores them. This means that when viewing Audit Logs, older entries that have been archived, are not included in any of your searches. Archived Audit Logs are available and can be accessed should you need to run searches for older logs.
Lab processing audit logs show Accuro as the username because the lab files are automatically uploaded.
How often you archive Audit Logs depends upon the size of your clinic and the amount of activity on your system. The more often you archive your logs, the quicker the archive will be to make.
