Tracked Claims
The Tracked Claims tab is an easy way to view claims
being tracked. This tab only displays claims that have tracking pins attached
to them.
On the Tracked Claims tab you have the option of viewing
all tracked pins or you can view one specific pin type.
Add a Claim Tracking Pin
- Click the Claims
button
on the Navigation bar.
- Press and release the Alt
button on the keyboard, click Billing
and select Options from the list
displayed.
- Click Manage Claim
Tracking. The Edit Claim Tracking Pins window is displayed.
- Click the Add
button
.
- Type in the pin name and abbreviation.
- Click the Select
Color button and choose the Pin Icon color.
- Click OK
to save.
Edit a Claim Tracking Pin
- Click the Claims
button
on the Navigation bar.
- Press and release the Alt
button on the keyboard, click Billing
and select Options from the list
displayed.
- Click Manage Claim
Tracking. The Edit Claim Tracking Pins window is displayed.
- Click to select the appropriate pin and click
the Edit button.
- Edit the pin as required.
- Click OK
to save your changes.
Delete a Claim Tracking Pin
- Click the Claims
button
on the Navigation bar.
- Press and release the Alt
button on the keyboard, click Billing
and select Options from the list
displayed.
- Click Manage Claim
Tracking. The Edit Claim Tracking Pins window is displayed.
- Click to select the appropriate pin and click
the Delete button
.
The pin is deleted.
Set Tracking Pin
Assigning a tracking pin is an easy way to mark a specific
claim of interest. All claims with tracking pins attached can be viewed
on the Tracked Claims tab.
- Click the Claims
button
on the Navigation bar.
- Click the appropriate tab.
- Right-click on the appropriate claim and select
Set Tracking Pin from the list
displayed.
Note: Set Tracking Pin is only
displayed in the right-click list if at least one tracking pin exists.
- Select the pin from the list displayed. The
tracking pin is now attached to the selected claim.
Clear Tracking Pin
- Click the Claims
button
on the Navigation bar.
- Click the appropriate tab.
- Right-click on the appropriate, select Set Tracking Pin from the list displayed.
- Click None.
The tracking pin has been removed from the selected claim.
Filter Pin View
A user can opt to view all of the tracking pins or
one specific pin type.
- Click the Claims
button
on the Navigation bar.
- Click the Tracked
Claims tab.
- Click the
and select the
appropriate pin from the Pin Filter
list displayed.
Note: The default is to display
all pins.
