Quick Patient Summary

Patient Summary opens the Quick Patient Summary for the currently selected patient. This gives you access to three tabs: Virtual Chart, Patient Summary and Encounter Summary.

The Encounter Summary tab displays all clinical notes for the patient fully expanded ordered reverse chronologically. Underneath each note; a link labelled "Click to Open Clinical Note...". Click this to open the clinical note for editing. There is also an option to show the Encounter Summary tab as part of the EMR section.

Access Quick Patient Summary

1. Click the Accuro Start Menu , click Tools and select Patient Summary from the list displayed. The Quick Patient Summary window is displayed.

View Log in Quick Patient Summary

1. Click the Accuro Start Menu , click Tools and select Patient Summary from the list displayed. The Quick Patient Summary window is displayed.

2. Click the View Log button . The Log Viewer window is displayed.

Search Log in Quick Patient Viewer

Note: You can use more than one filter at a time to narrow down search results.

1. Click the Accuro Start Menu , click Tools and select Patient Summary from the list displayed. The Quick Patient Summary window is displayed.
   
   Note: The shortcut to display the Quick Patient Summary is F3.
2. Click the View Log button . The Log Viewer window is displayed.
3. To search by Date Range double-click the to and from dates and select from the calendar displayed.
4. To search by Activity click the dropdown list  and select the activity from the list displayed.
5. To search by User click the dropdown list  and select the user from the list displayed.
6. To search by User Demographic Name click the dropdown list  and select the name from the list displayed.
7. To search by Role click the dropdown list  and select the role from the list displayed.
8. To search by User ID click the dropdown list  and select the number from the list displayed.
9. To search by Comments type the comment into the space to the right of the field.
10. Click the List Results button to view the results.

Print Log

1. Click the Accuro Start Menu , click Tools and select Patient Summary from the list displayed. The Quick Patient Summary window is displayed.
   
   Note: The shortcut to display the Quick Patient Summary is F3.
2. Click the View Log button . The Log Viewer window is displayed.
3. Filter your results, as required.
4. Click the Print button .
5. Select your printer and click OK.

View the Patient Summary

1. Click the Accuro Start Menu , click Tools and select Patient Summary from the list displayed. The Quick Patient Summary window is displayed.

2. Click the Patient Summary tab. The patient's summary is displayed.

View the Encounter Summary

1. Click the Accuro Start Menu , click Tools and select Patient Summary from the list displayed. The Quick Patient Summary window is displayed.

2. Click the Encounter Summary tab. The patient's encounter summary is displayed.

Open a Patient Summary Item

1. Click the Accuro Start Menu , click Tools and select Patient Summary from the list displayed. The Quick Patient Summary window is displayed.
   
   Note: The shortcut to display the Quick Patient Summary is F3.
2. Use the filters to search for the applicable summary items.
3. Click to select a summary item and click the Open button. Details of the item you selected are displayed.

Date Filter Quick Patient Summary Items

1. Click the Accuro Start Menu , click Tools and select Patient Summary from the list displayed. The Quick Patient Summary window is displayed.

2. Use the filters to search for the applicable summary items.
3. Click the dropdown list  to the right of Date Filter and select from the list displayed.

Configure Quick Patient Summary View

1. Click the Accuro Start Menu , click Tools and select Patient Summary from the list displayed. The Quick Patient Summary window is displayed.
   
   Note: The shortcut to display the Quick Patient Summary is F3.
2. Click the Configure Views button and select Details View or Scrolling View to change the view currently displayed.
3. Click the Configure button and select Configure Preview to change the headings displayed at the top of the preview area.
   
4. To add a heading, click the Add button and click the dropdown list  to select more fields to display. Click OK.
5. To remove a heading, click to select a heading and click the Remove button . Click OK.
6. Use the Arrow buttons  to arrange the order the headings are displayed. Click OK.

Configure the Colors of the Quick Patient Summary Preview

1. Click the Accuro Start Menu , click Tools and select Patient Summary from the list displayed. The Quick Patient Summary window is displayed.
   
   Note: The shortcut to display the Quick Patient Summary is F3.
2. Click the Configure button and select Configure Table Colors to change the colors displayed in the summary table.
3. To add a color, click the Add button . Click the left-hand area of the new row displayed and select a type from the list displayed:
   
4. Click the right-hand side area of the new row and the Pick a Color window is displayed:
   
5. Select the preferred color and click OK.

Note: Repeat this procedure for as many types as required.

Search Patient Chart in Quick Patient Summary

1. Click the Accuro Start Menu , click Tools and select Patient Summary from the list displayed. The Quick Patient Summary window is displayed.

2. Use your filters to narrow the search results as much as possible. If you still have problems locating a specific entry, type in key words into the Search Patient Chart field and click the Search button . All entries containing the key words you searched for are displayed.
