Other Tab

Note: Where a section has an add button  next to it, these sections can be expanded to add more information than the section allows.

The Other tab contains the following fields:

Employer Contact: Use the Address Book button to select an Employer Contact.

Pharmacy Contact: Use the Address Book button to select a Pharmacy Contact. This section is important if a patient prefers to have their prescriptions faxed directly to a pharmacy.

Email Address: This field is for the patient's primary e-mail address.
Note: For clinics with Medeo, changing the email for linked Medeo patients will not update their email in Medeo. Click "Learn More" in the warning that displays under the this field in Accuro for more information on how to update the email in Medeo. 

Registration Number: This field is available when an office uses registration numbers.

Referral Date: Date the patient was referred to the clinic.

Previous WCB Claims: Stores a list of previous WCB claim numbers.

Global Message: A popup box appears containing text for all users anytime this patient is loaded. Care should be taken when using this as it is also possible that the patient may see the popup message.

Your Message: A popup box appears containing text for the current user only. Care should be taken when using this as it is also possible that the patient may see the popup message.

Paper Chart: Select this checkbox if the patient has a paper chart. The text field is now available to type any applicable notes.

Official Language: Select which of Canada's official languages this patient prefers for communication purposes.

Spoken language: Select which language this patient speaks.

Custom Fields: Additional text fields that can be added and titled by the user.

Alias: Expand this section if the patient as other names that they are known by.

If any of the information displayed on this tab is changed, remember to click the Update Patient button to save the changes.
